We are off to McMinnville, Oregon for an evening of Biodynamic wines made by the Momtazi family. Naseem Momtazi, one of three daughters to Moe & Flora Momtazi, the winery’s founders, will be joining us from Oregon as we taste through three of her family’s wines.

The Momtazi family immigrated from Iran in the early 1980s, and purchased land in Oregon with the idea of growing grapes and making wine, something Moe’s father did in Iran when he was a boy. In 1997 they purchased land and Maysara was born. Since then they have been practicing low-impact, holistic farming practices in their Demeter certified vineyards, and carry those practices into the winemaking as well.
